Class 5 – The Secrets of Motivation and Gaining Compliance from a Child with ASD

Required Pre-requisite:  Class 1, 2 & 3

This class will provide you with a new understanding of how to recognize when autism is behind a behavior, the all-important skill of motivating a child with ASD, and how to help the child recognize and follow rules and stimulate interest and participation.

This class is delivered as 5 comprehensive, easy to digest lessons. Each lesson contains a mix of audio recordings, video recordings and written content which is accessible anywhere, anytime that best fits your schedule.

  • Lesson 1: Intrinsic vs. extrinsic motivation
  • Lesson 2: How to develop a parent/teacher partnership that works
  • Lesson 3: Why doesn’t he or she follow the rules?
  • Lesson 4: Gaining cooperation, increasing compliance with a child with autism
